Ongoing dental filling pain?

So these fillings I got a few weeks ago. They still hurt whenever they encounter anything that isn't body temperature (cool water, warm soup). And sometimes they just start aching for no obvious reason. I haven't had fillings before -- is this normal? If not, does anyone know what is likely to be going on, and what I should do about it?
