Ow.

So, remember that partially-drilled wisdom tooth? I was hoping to put off dealing with it until I got my Dental Insurance switched to a different plan, which looks like it might happen withion the next two weeks. However, the occasional twinging has ramped up to serious, constant pain. In the best Murphy fashion, it chose to make itself unignorable on a Friday night, after all the current insurance people are closed. Sigh. I should have enough painkillers to get me through the weekend, but I'm not a happy camper.

Oh, no!

Good luck.

I once had to get a temporary "medicated filling" for such a tooth.

A medicated filling is clove oil held in with clay. It worked like a charm. You might want to get some clove essential oil and try to jam some in there with something small, pointy, and flexible.

...and take a lot of painkillers too.

Ugg - feel better soon. I have absolutely no tolerance for pain and turned into one big angry bear of a man when I had my wisdom teeth pulled in the mid 90s.

Maybe an good excuse for a party and imbibing some fine spirits.

Ouch! In my experience (not being a pain junkie) the sooner it's seen to, the better. I had all four wisdom teeth taken out (at the same time) years ago. Hope the weekend wasn't too unbearable.
