I merely posit that I could make a pretty serviceable REAL guitar out of plastic and a little rubber, so long as it was the right plastic and the right rubber.

Same of drums-- up to and including typani, if need be.


In neither case would they sound as good as wood and animal by-products, but they'd be pretty decent...

I guess what I'm saying is, don't hate on plastic. Nor a little rubber. It's what the world is made of these days...
