Bujold: Scenes I'd Like to See
So, I'm finishing up a reread of most of the Vorkosigan novels, and there are a couple of hypothetical things I'm looking forward to potentially seeing in some future book. Don't know if they'll actually happen, but I want to read them.
Cordelia explaining to Miles what really happened in the Escobar invasion. Presumably this would only happen after Aral had died. Possibly coming as a combination of "someone near Gregor should know the truth" and as a way of helping Miles deal with some unusually acute morality-vs-duty crisis.
An aged Miles being invited to the coronation of the young new Cetagandan Emperor. Whom, it is delicately revealed to Miles, shares about 10% of Miles' genome. After all, Miles has certainly demonstrated its viability to the Cetagandans enough, over the years :-) I have no idea how Miles would react to that news, but I'd love to find out!
