Seems like Joss Whedon is all over the middle east these days. Apparently, a lot of attack helicopter pilots in Afghanistan are Firefly fans.

Dagger Six: *heavy gunfire sounds in the background* Angels, we got some local color happening, a grand entrance would not go amiss!

Static: Dagger six, Angels three-six, roger.

Dragon Lady: How is he able to quote a tv show while being shot at?

Ok, I promised myself I wouldn't post or comment cause I must must must go to bed at a reasonable hour so I can be coherent during the training I'm doing tomorrow, but I just had to say:

Back when I used to take applications for loans over the phone for a living (among other things), the very best job title I *ever* had was "Attack Helicopter Pilot".

And boy, was he gleeful when he said it.
