WorldCon, part 1
Lots of stuff to write about, so I'll be breaking this up into many parts. First, general stuff.

kestrell and I daytripped on Thursday and Monday, had a hotel room Friday and Saturday night. I Spent the vast majority of my time at panels, about which more later. It was a rare time slot that didn't have at least 2 panels I wanted to see, and 4+ was not unusual.
Just like last Noreascon, the hotel screwed up the room reservations, and then put us in a (normally) much more expensive room because it was all they had available. Up sides were a great view, a coffeepot in the room, and the ability to use the express elevators. Major downside was only one bed, so somene had to sleep in a small, uncomfortable roll-away cot each night. Oh well.
Did spend some time at Benji's graduation party on Saturday night. Also spent some evening time socializing with, inter alia,learnedax, ladysprite, herooftheage, 43duckies, ricevermicelli, Christian, and Trell.
Had a throat tickle Saturday morning. By Sunday, was down with a full-fledged cold. Went home quite early to rest up, so that I could make it back for some particuarly cool stuff on Monday, which actually worked out. Still feeling pretty blah, but am back at work now. Which I should actually *do* some more of, I suppose :-) More later.
