We're looking for a housemate

To cover the small set of people who read my LJ but not that of herooftheage:

As of July 1, there will be a room available to let at our place. Our house is a fourteen room Victorian built in the 1880s, with decently-sized bedrooms and extensive common space.

Rent is $500/month, which includes utilities, business-grade DSL, and some amount of food staples.The bedroom is on the second floor, and has a western facing.

There are some restrictions: No pets that give Alexx allergy fits. No smoking in the house. No land-line phone that rings outside your room.

Alexx is allergic to fur and feathers. (And lots of other things, but few are pet-related.)

Well, if they promised to keep such things in their rooms, they might well be acceptable. I am *not* willing to restrict pets in such a fashion.
