I believe it was outside. I suppose it is possible that it spent some of the intervening ~year inside a bird-nest. There are now a distressingly large number of birds nesting inside various holes in the house.
I don't think you have that party-style, though again, I'm not much surprised at the typing. I do seem to have a thing for INTJs :-)
