Visiting twins

On Saturday, I spent a few hours visiting with cvirtue, metageek, and the twins. No actual screaming from the twins this time, though they did hide for a while at first. Making significant progress. Plus, I've started bringing books to give them. Combination of bribe and corruption-of-youth, so double score! :-)

Spent a while playing outside. They have a nice, large yard. Cynthia has some yummy crops growing in various corners, but there's still lots of room to run around in. Turns out that they have some pine trees with low branches that are excellent for young monkeys to climb on. Though the girl monkey, at least, wanted to climb much higher than her mommy was comfortable with :-)

Cynthia gave me, as a birthday present, an antique silk velvet robe for kestrell to wear, on the (completely correct) assumption that I would greatly enjoy seeing/feeling her wearing it :) Though that probably won't happen in any significant amount until the current heat wave has passed.
