Historian house-cleaning

Did a bunch of Historian work today. Now 90% of the archives is in the same room, and the stuff that isn't there is the rarely-accessed stuff. (Well, it's all rarely-accessed, but some more than others.) This was in preparation for a prospective Deputy Historian showing up to do some filing. Sadly, she had a cold and couldn't make it. Still, the work won't have been wasted; it needed doing sometime.

On the plus side, dreda stopped by the house, and we talked a bit about the possibility of *her* becoming a Deputy Historian. I've handed her a disc with the Baronial Photo Archive on it, in the hopes that she can get it actually back on-line somewhere. She's also thinking about helping with other stuff, but I'm taking it one step at a time.

Also, did some pre-filing of the last ~9 months worth of comics. But between that and the Historian stuff, was fairly wasted by mid-afternoon. Some weekend Real Soon Now, I need to spend a lot of time working on the comic book collection. By now, the partially filed boxes are starting to rival the number of the fully filed ones...

Spent much of today playing Geneforge. Love them old-skool RPGs, I surely do :-)
