Just got an email from the A.R.T. about next year's season. Much of it looks kinda moderately interesting, but the final entry grabbed me hard:

When shipwrecked aristocrats wash up on the shores of Prospero's strange island, they find themselves immersed in a world of trickery and amazement, where Tom Waits' Dust Bowl balladry and Teller's magic animate the spirits and monsters. The Tempest is a co-production with the Smith Center, Las Vegas.

Posner and Teller did a marvelous co-direction of "Macbeth" some years back, so I trust them a lot. Tom Waits is just icing on the cake.
