Not-Dance Movie Night

That went well. I think we'll do it again next Wednesday. Rather than struggle to fit in two 90 minute films, though, I think I'll stick with one ~2-hour film, and maybe a short subject, so people don't feel rushed, and can maybe chat a bit more afterwards.

What do y'all want to see? Some films that were mentioned in passing last night were The Lion in Winter, and The Wizard of Speed and Time. Other ideas?

I will not be there, as I'll be in VA visiting in-laws. So you guys should probably see Lion in Winter then, to avoid my turning it into a history lecture :-)

I tend to think in terms of Movies Every SCAdian Should Have Seen: Lion in Winter (Hepburn/O'Toole), Knightriders, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Henry V (Branagh).

Other things I'd like to see sometime (or again) - The Last Samurai, Master & Commander.

Well, after all that, now I have to see Knightriders.

I second (third?) mentions of Braveheart and Princess Bride. Unfortunately, I'm not 100% certain I'll make it this week either, because matildalucet and Steve get back from Belgium that day. Oops. The week after, I swear (plus the birthday day)...
