kestrell's party by T, you will have to take a shuttle bus from the JFK/UMass station. When the driver lets you off "at Shawmut Station", you will in fact be on Dorchester Avenue, and several blocks away from the actual station. What you need to do now is find Melville Avenue. It's probably one or two blocks back the way you came.
Go up Melville almost to the end. The street slopes slightly
uphill almost its entire length; 12 Melville is on the right about
100 feet before the hill crests. If you pass a very large Victorian
house that has a sign out front reading 'Salvation Army', surrounded
by a black chain-link and wrought-iron fence, you've gone too far:
Ours is the house just before that one. There is a large sign
reading "12" in the front door.
