I did find Season Seven disapointing. Dropped plotlines (as mentioned above), liberal use of deus ex machina (scythe? Amulet? Watchers of the Watchers?) and a final episode that was okay... for an episode, but really lacking in a series finale. AMong other things, that last episode wanted to be two hours.
