Party logistics and sanity check

So, I've just found out that the Ashmontbranch of the Red Line will be closed for maintenance on the weekend including November 5, which is when I was planning on hosting a party at Melville Keep. It is still *possible* to get (close to) here by public transit, but considerably more difficult and time consuming. This is making me consider rescheduling the whole party thing. Are enough people planning on coming by car (or willing to brave the transit issues) to make it worth having? Or should I move it to another date? If you have an opinion on any of these issues, please comment.

I thought Buttery was having a party on Guy Fawkes Day?

Not that the outage doesn't affect them the exact same way.

Last I heard, they were planning on having a bonfire, but not much else. If they do have a bonfire, much of my party (if it exists) will probably head over to watch.

Juldea and I will be in Ohio the current weekend of the party. The weekend after we will be in Providence. But if it's a date we can make, I expect we will attempt to attend.

I was planning on attending. If I can borrow a car, I would still come, otherwise, not sure.

I have some comics for you. I am going to bring them over tonight, because I will have the car anyways.

It's up in the air whether I can make it (the house thing renders almost all plans of mine fairly tentative for the time being), but obviously it would be by car if I can...
