Shopping spree

Much of the time, I am a stingy Yankee type, and try and live frugally. Every once in a while, though, I go into consumer-splurge mode. Tax refunds came in, and though most of them will go towards debt maintenance, kestrell and I went on a shopping splurge this weekend.

The big ticket item for me was an Xbox 360, and a copy of Guitar Hero II to play on it. It's a great game, but I'm going to have to keep to short play sessions for a while, until I build up finger strength.

We also went to the Outer Limits, which was finishing up their moving sale, and nobly heped lighten their load. Kes got lots of cheezy horror movies :-) Just as we were leaving, we ran into jducouer and msmemory on their way in, and exchanged greetings.

On to a bit more Amazon shopping for both of us, and then back into debt-mode....

On the "an eight dollar movie is so much cheaper than a ten dollar movie!" theory, I indulged myself with a copy of Master And Commander.
