Subsonic update 3

Spent most of the weekend back in my own bed, just with extra blankets and the heat turned off. Slept... ok. Was almost human on Sunday, but last night was pretty un-restful.

Plumbers should have been by the house sometime today. With luck, I'll be able to live in my room *and* have heat once again.

The plumber turned on the heat and went upstairs and listened in your room, and identified the noise as the compressor pump vibrating the pipes. His solution is a new compressor pump, which he is currently slated to install tomorrow, though it is barely possible he won't be able to get back here until Wednesday.

So bad news is that it is not fixed now, but the good news is that the professional actually heard the problem and thinks he has a solution.
