Household update

When the plumber was here earlier today, he noticed something odd about our gas pressure. Some folks from the gas company came by tonight during dinner, and ascertained that, yes, something was Wrong. Now, *nobody* in the house gets any heat, until this issue gets dealt with.

They certainly are prompt in dealing with such matters. The jackhammers of the road crew started up right around 11 P.M. I think this is going to be a long night...

ETA: They stopped jackhammering after a short time. But now their portable generator is emitting a very powerful low frequency hum. The irony just keeps a'comin'...

They certainly are prompt in dealing with such matters.

In the long term, keeping extra maintenance teams standing idle tends to be cheaper than dead customers. :-)
