Plumbing update

alexxkaySo the plumber eventually came by yesterday. Scheduled appointment: 10 AM. Actual arrival, 5:15 PM. Well, I'm sure he wasn't having the day he expected, either.
We did a bunch of experimenting and investigating. Mostly, the problem seemed to minimize now that he was there, classic engineer effect. However, he did bleed a small amount of air out of the pipes. I choose to believe that this has solved the problem, if only because taking that position may help with the psychological dimensions of the problem.
Last night I slept OK. The rain was as problematic as ever, but the heating system caused me no noticeable woes. Here's hoping it continues not to.
