...not when it is raining in my bedroom.

OK, I exaggerate. It's just dripping. The leak, however, is located precisely in the middle of my bed. So, after I'm done here, I get to attempt to go to sleep curled around a large plastic bucket.

And here I thought I'd start working off my sleep debt tonight, by coming home early from dance practice. Waaahhhhh!

Bleah. Although there could be something worse: it could have already rained on your books or computer. I hope it gets fixed soon!

Oh how awful! And what wretched timing, really.

I hope it gets fixed soon too.

What, you don't have any engineers in the house?

A plastic tarp, some tinfoil, a broomhandle and some ducttape, and y'r all set. Some assembly required.

Good suggestion. I may do something like that this evening. Being woken up from a sound sleep in the middle of the night, I was in no condition to even think of such a plan, much less implement it.

Sympathies -- just about the closest I get to nightmares these days are dreams reminding me of the two weeks that we didn't have a solid roof in the house...
