Shawmut Station will be closed this weekend! If you're coming to [livejournal.com profile] kestrell's party by T, you will have to take a shuttle bus from the JFK/UMass station. When the driver lets you off "at Shawmut Station", you will in fact be on Dorchester Avenue, and several blocks away from the actual station. What you need to do now is find Melville Avenue. It's probably one or two blocks back the way you came.

Go up Melville almost to the end. The street slopes slightly
uphill almost its entire length; 12 Melville is on the right about
100 feet before the hill crests. If you pass a very large Victorian
house that has a sign out front reading 'Salvation Army', surrounded
by a black chain-link and wrought-iron fence, you've gone too far:
Ours is the house just before that one. There is a large sign
reading "12" in the front door.

If you get lost and need rescuing, call me at 617-501-8190.

Concensus is gradually emerging.

A Lion in Winter should be shown some time when Kali is around.

Knightriders should probably get shown either this week or next, while Vis is still at Pennsic. Opinions?

Movie this Wednesday will start no later than 8:30, whatever it turns out to be. Might show a short feature before hand, if there's interest. Probably will try and start earlier (and without a short) if we show Knightriders, since it's 145 minutes.

I'd like to focus on "introductions" rather than "old favorites". If you're going to be there this week, what movies have you often heard of, but never gotten around to seeing?

EDIT: Although the crowd is, by definition, SCA-centric, I don't think that we should restrict ourselves to just SCA-related movies. Certainly last week wasn't!
