Dance was good last night. Did a lot of dancing, including work on two dances I like, but don't yet know "in my feet", Anello, and Cuckolds All in a Row (great name!).
Also did a lot of much-needed socializing afterwards. I seem to be developing a niche as "provider of good comics to dancers".
bess has my Promethea books, I loaned
learnedax a huge pile of Alan Moore stuff, I loaned
gyzki the first ~half of Walt Simonson's run on Thor, and
juldea just asked to borrow Sandman. This is good, as loaning out stuff to others makes me feel less guilty about being such a materialist Accumulator Of Stuff.
Plus, then I get to chat with them about it.
learnedax was rather blown away last night, when I pointed out that Matthew Cable, from the Swamp Thing run I had recently loaned to him, was the same character as Matthew he Raven in Sandman. Now he has to go back and reread Sandman again, the horror. [not sorry >:-)]
Also introduced some more people to the useful vocabulary words "limerance" and "compersion". [If you haven't been introduced, use google. You might want to check several entries, however, as the usage isn't entirely stable.]
