My dad gave me a T-shirt a while ago, swag from some trade show, that says on it "WYSIWYG". In the past few weeks two young women have stopped me as I was walking by, asked for an explanation, and seemed to think that the answer was pretty cool. If I wasn't already happily married, I would definitely invest in more shirts with obscure-yet-cool acronyms on them. Perhaps some of my Friends can use this knowledge :-)

Ah, got it.

Odd shirt to give someone married to a blind person... ?

It's not like it was something he picked out special for me, it was just trade show swag, given to me 'cos it wouldn't fit him.

I have another such swag-shirt that I think of as the canonical example of Bad Marketing. It has a spiral of text on it, reading, "This is what we had in mind. Is this what you had in mind?" OK, points for being intriguing. But no indication of what company it is supposed to be advertising *for*. Or, in fact, what kind of product, or even what *industry*. I can only presume that it's tech-related, but I don't know beyond that...
