As I have occasionally mentioned here, I'm a big fan of Steven Brust, going so far as to maintain an exhaustively-researched Timeline of his Dragaera books. I've just had a short e-mail exchange with Mr. Brust, that started with him asking: "In the timeline, under miscelaneous events, you mention [possible spoiler redacted]. Have you any clues as to when that might have taken place? If you can put a finger on something without going through a major hassle, I'd appreciate it." Being able to be a small help to one of my favorite authors makes me just swell up with pride :-)
