cvirtue recently asked in her LJ what were the two things that made people laugh recently. I didn't reply, because I couldn't remember. But since then, I've gotten 2 good laughs, both from posts by james_nicoll on rec.arts.sf.written, in a thread he started called "The Core Books". The first post read:
