Zombie dream

Zombie apocalypse crossed with office comedy. (Intelligent zombies, a la Matheson's I Am Legend,)

One worker suggests that any bites be quickly washed out with Dr. Bronner's soap; maybe the "all one god faith" will stave off infection. Sadly, alarm went off before this could be tested.

Bronner seems to have thought he was an Essene; don't know if Essenes believed in zombies or not.

I suspect not... but it wasn't covered in comparative religion class!

Does it matter if they believed? If the soap is holy, and if holiness is protective, then belief doesn't necessarily factor in, I think.

It has to be from a batch produced while Bronner was alive, otherwise the ritual wasn't done properly.

AFAICT, his descendants are doing their best to live by his example.

Now, it's arguable that it might not be a matter of "correct ritual" but of "divine grace", and that might not have passed on.
