alexxkayKestrell asked me to OCR an academic article for her, from a pretty poor quality scan. It required major corrections, including typing whole sections from scratch. But in between the correct results and the utter nonsense... was often weirdly oracular-sounding snippets. The text transmogrified, commenting on itself in new ways. It's kind of like the Burroughs/Gysin cut-up technique. I've included some selections below. (Bonus points if you can identify the subject of the original essay.)
