Knitting Machine seeking home

My mom has some sort of automated knitting machine (specializing in sweaters) that she expects to not be using any more in a few months, and wants to find a good home for. I know a lot of people who read this knit, so I said I'd put out the word. Any one interested?

On another note, how did your surgery go? I'm down 135 pounds since I started down that same road....

Date: 2005-06-18 02:00 am (UTC)Things are going great so far. I've lost just under 40 pounds since I had the surgery on April 27th. Seven more pounds and I'll be under 300 again. I'm still finding it tricky sometimes to take in enough solid protein, but it gets easier every day. In a way, you were part of my inspiration to have the surgery...I was thinking about the surgery last summer, but was concerned about what it would be like to have to eat tiny amounts forever. Kestrell told me about how you were able to eat small but normal portions of the food you liked, and made me consider the whole thing much more seriously. And I'm glad I did...
